Unilever Nigeria Plc has reported a significant financial boost in its unaudited interim results for the nine-month period ending September 30, 2024.
The company achieved a turnover of N103.8 billion, marking a 46% increase from N71.2 billion in the same period last year.
In terms of profitability, Unilever Nigeria posted a gross profit of N42.9 billion for Q3 2024, which represents an impressive 88% rise compared to N22.8 billion recorded in Q3 2023.
The net profit also saw a substantial increase, reaching N11 billion, up 47% from N7.5 billion in the corresponding quarter of 2023.
Tim Kleinebenne, Managing Director of Unilever Nigeria, commented on the results, stating that the company's consistent quarter-on-quarter growth is a testament to their Growth Action Plan (GAP).
He emphasized their commitment to providing consumers with top-quality brands that cater to health and hygiene needs. "Unilever Nigeria is pleased with its performance progress, driven by operational efficiency, cost optimization, and an expanding market share across key categories," he added.
Kleinebenne assured stakeholders that the company will continue to enhance its operations in Nigeria to better serve the health and hygiene requirements of citizens through its diverse range of products.
