Afrobeats artist David Adedeji Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, has expressed his support for Pascal Okechukwu, known as Cubana Chief Priest, after the latter was granted bail by a Lagos court amid accusations of naira mutilation.

Recall that personnel of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) filed a three-count charge against the nightlife promoter on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, over alleged naira mutilation.

During the court proceedings, the celebrity barman pleaded not guilty to the charges levelled against him.

Judge Kehinde Ogundare, who presided over the case, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N10 million, demanding two credible sureties to stand as guarantors, with the condition that the bail terms must be met within seven days.

Failure to meet these conditions would result in remand in prison, pending further legal processes.

After the case, Cubana Chief Priest took to his Instagram account on Wednesday to thank his friends and fans for their concerns shortly after he was granted bail.

He stated that he was humbled by the trial while adding that it has confirmed that he isn’t “small.”

Reacting to the post via the comment section, Davido asserted his unwavering support and dismissed any chance of not seeing the socialite for six months.

The Afrobeats singer wrote in pidgin English, “I no go see you for six months, ke? Never.
