Adenike Adeleke Donates Rice, Cows to Osun Corps Members

Adenike Adeleke, widely known as "Nikos Living," and daughter of Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, recently visited the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) permanent orientation camp in Ede, Osun State. Her visit was part of the ongoing Orientation Course for the 2024 Batch B Stream II Corps Members.

Adenike, a well-known YouTuber and blogger, was warmly welcomed by the State Coordinator, Mr. Agbor Ndoma Obim, alongside other camp officials. Mr. Obim expressed gratitude for the Governor’s previous commitments to improving the camp’s infrastructure and used the occasion to remind Adenike of some pending promises, asking her to convey these to the Governor.

During her address, Adenike shared her personal story, detailing her journey toward building a successful blog, and encouraged the corps members to remain determined. She highlighted the importance of resilience, telling them, "It’s always darkest before the dawn." Her message resonated deeply with the audience as she emphasized her family’s long-standing commitment to public service.

In a display of generosity, Adenike announced the donation of 40 bags of rice and five cows to support the camp's carnival. Her gesture was met with applause from the corps members. During her visit, she also inspected the female hostels, identifying areas needing improvement, and pledged additional support for the NYSC scheme.

Her presence left a lasting impact on the corps members, who were inspired by her humility and willingness to give back to the community.
