CIBN to Induct 407 Chartered Bankers, Others

The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) is set to induct 407 newly qualified Associates (Chartered Bankers) and 895 Microfinance Certified Bankers into their respective categories on Saturday.

This announcement was made through a statement signed by Folake Akintayo, the Head of Corporate Communications and Brand Management.

The induction ceremony is seen as an opportunity for industry stakeholders to explore the evolving dynamics of work in the professional realm.

The statement emphasized the importance of adapting to the rapid changes in the financial sector and adopting strategies to ensure global relevance for financial service professionals.

Under the theme "The Dynamics of Work and Current Realities: The Way Forward for Financial Service Professionals," the event aims to address these critical aspects of the industry. Notably, the CIBN will also recognize and present prizes to candidates who have demonstrated exceptional performance in the various categories of the Institute's Examinations.

The ceremony is expected to be graced by notable figures including Lamido Yuguda, the Director General of the Securities and Exchange Commission, and Mustafa Chike-Obi, the Chairman of the Bank Directors Association of Nigeria.
