Edo Guber: Oshiomhole Denies Vote-Buying Accusations Against APC

Emmanuella Amarachi Ozioko

The senator representing Edo North Senatorial District, Senator Adams Oshiomole, has refuted the accusations that the All Progressives Congress, APC, came with money to buy votes.

He revealed this while speaking with newsmen after exercising his right to vote at Iyamho, Ward 10 Unit 01 in Estako West Local Government Area of Edo State.

He declared that it is ridiculous for the political rivals to make such false accusations.

His words: “It is ridiculous when I hear these kinds of accusations. Did you notice anywhere they are giving out money?

“The electorates turned out in mass to vote for APC because they needed good government. Throughout our campaign, many people came out to see me not because I desired to give them something but because of what I have done for them during my administration as a governor.

“All the structures I built over 12,13 years ago are still there, but the ones the current administration built in just one year have already been washed away.

“However, our people have seen the difference. Some people inform me that since I left the government, they haven't experienced a tangible government presence in their communities."
