If I say Anything Let me Die, Verydarkman tells Reps

Nigerian social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, famously known as Verydarkman, presently facing the House of Representatives, has refused to give evidence about his accusations, stressing that his legal representative will speak on his behalf.

His rejection to speak stemmed from the failure of Okuneye Idris, widely known as Bobrisky to also appear before the parliament.

Meanwhile, House Members have directed Verydarkman to return and answer questions, accepting his assertion or risk being imprisoned by the parliament.

The Chairman highlighted that Otse cannot dictate the legal proceedings, including Bobrisky’s appearance, as that decision lies with the house.

The chairman of the panel asserted, “You are not expected to instruct us whether Olarenwaju is present here or not; it is our duty to decide. We can also force him to come before us and invoke our powers to apprehend him.

“We can make Olarenwaju appear before us and even apprehend him if possible,” the chairman stressed. “Your allegations have been directed to the invitation of prominent government personnel, so it’s important you speak to these accusations.

“You are here already to witness; I will urge you to go ahead; don’t let anyone mislead you. To the legal representative, please counsel your client.”

Verydarkman’s refusal to comment has generated unease, with the panel threatening to exercise its powers if he fails to obey.
