Insecurity: South-East Governors Meet in Enugu

The South-East Governors and some stakeholders, including the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe, met on Tuesday, June 2, 2024 for an important meeting at the Enugu Government House.

According to journalists, the whole South East governors were present at the meeting.

The governors that attended the meeting were Charles Soludo of Anambra, Dr. Alex Otti of Abia, Hope Uzodimma of Imo, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State, and the host governor, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah of Enugu State.

Details of the meeting have not been disclosed, but they are likely pressing regional issues such as security, Nnamdi Kanu's detention, and the overall well-being of the South-East zone.
