The Kwara State Government has reiterated its commitment to delivering high-quality road infrastructure in the Kwara South senatorial district as part of its broader urban renewal agenda.

Engr. Abdulquawiy Olododo, Commissioner for Works and Transport, provided this assurance during an inspection of ongoing road projects in the region. Accompanied by Engr. Ladi Yusuf, the Governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Infrastructure, Olododo emphasized the importance of adhering to global standards and timely delivery of all projects.

He urged contractors to strictly follow approved specifications, warning against compromises in quality. "Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is focused on enhancing prosperity through infrastructure development, and it’s my responsibility to ensure top-tier projects for Kwarans," Olododo said, commending the Governor's dedication to excellence.

Several key road projects were inspected, including the 21KM Arandun-Esie-Oro Road Rehabilitation, 12KM Ajase-Ipo-Okeya Road, and 8KM Sabaja-Oba Isin-Owa Onire Road (Phase One). Engr. Afolabi Ademola, site engineer for the Sabaja project, assured the State of maintaining safety, quality, and adherence to timelines.

Residents of the beneficiary communities expressed gratitude to Governor AbdulRazaq for addressing long-neglected roads that had hindered economic activities, pledging their support for his continued efforts.
