Lagos State Water Corporation Demands Timely Settlement of Bills

On Tuesday, the Lagos State Water Corporation urged its customers to ensure the timely payment of their bills to guarantee a consistent water supply.

In a statement provided to the News Agency of Nigeria, the Managing Director of LWC, Mukhtaar Tijani reiterated the corporation's dedication to enhancing water availability within the city.

Tijani also noted that the state government was making strategic investments in the development of secure drinking water systems.

He stated, "In this regard, the LWC kindly seeks the support, assistance, and collaboration of our valued customers through the prompt settlement of their bills as we are diligently working to improve our services."

“These investments, therefore, call for a thorough review of the operational procedures to ensure sustainability.

“We are committed to ensuring safe quality water supply service delivery to every household and businesses in our areas of operation.

“Our existing production facilities and the associated water supply distribution networks will be aggregated to improve efficiency and reduce water losses through leakages.

“This will ensure that our reach is expanded to under-served areas within our community, thereby allowing residents to have improved access to reliable water supply,” he added.
