A Zimbabwean man has been brutally beaten by a group of husbands who accused him of having affairs with their wives. Dubbed "Zimbabwe’s Baltasar," the man faced violent retaliation from members of the Mapostori sect.

In a video shared by Crimewatch Zimbabwe on X (formerly Twitter), several men were seen holding him down and flogging him with what appeared to be rubber sticks. The footage, recorded by a bystander, also captured the men interrogating him, demanding, “How many women have you slept with, and why did you do it?”

Reports suggest the man allegedly engaged in these relationships after some women claimed their husbands were not fulfilling their marital duties.

The video quickly went viral, prompting social media users to call on the police to take action against the attackers. While some expressed shock at the incident, others pointed to a growing trend of violence in response to infidelity, raising concerns over the rising number of arrests tied to such assaults.
