In a recent sermon at his church, Bishop Oyedepo emphasized that his church is acquiring planes as easily as bicycles due to the blessings of God. He revealed that when God initially informed him that he would be flying, neither he nor his church took any human-driven initiatives towards it.

Oyedepo stated, "God told us we are going to fly; if He left us to plan to fly, it won't enter our budget in the next ten years. We are just changing planes like we change bicycles because His blessings make us rich and add no sorrow."

He clarified that there was no specific plan or prayer for the type of plane they would acquire, stating that they accepted whatever came their way.

Regarding the Ark Project, Bishop Oyedepo clarified that the church had not made any offerings compulsory, neither in Canaanland nor in its branches. Despite the fluctuations in the dollar-to-naira exchange rate, he emphasized that the project received no foreign exchange funding, yet there was no financial strain on anyone.

Addressing the subject of tithes, the Bishop emphasized that those who faithfully pay their tithes do not experience lack. He cited the example of John D. Rockefeller, who was a committed tither and ultimately became the first American billionaire in history. Oyedepo stressed the biblical significance of tithe payment and suggested that people only lack when they withhold rather than give.
