The ward executives of Kano State's Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area, yesterday, paid a solidarity visit to Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, who was suspended.

This comes two days after Halliru Gwanzo, the ward's Legal Adviser, suspended Ganduje from the party.

Gwanzo, speaking to journalists in Kano, said the APC ward leadership made the decision based on the bribery allegations against Ganduje.

He noted the Kano State government's bribery charges against Ganduje, as well as his expected arraignment on Thursday.

The Kano state leadership of the party overruled the suspension and issued a six-month suspension on Gwanzo and other implicated leaders at the ward level.
