According to the statement, over 41,000 Palestinians have lost their lives, with thousands more suffering life-changing injuries, including children losing limbs. Highlighting the deteriorating humanitarian situation, the press release cited alarming figures from international organizations, including Human Rights Watch, the World Health Organization, and UNICEF, about the malnutrition and devastation in Gaza.
Access to basic necessities like food and water has been severely restricted, with over a million people lacking food rations as hunger spreads. The Palestinian Embassy also expressed outrage over Israel's decision to declare UN Secretary-General António Guterres *persona non grata*, despite his strong backing from the Security Council, and questioned the U.S.’s silence on the matter.
The embassy emphasized that this war, while fought by Israel, is ultimately supported by the U.S., as evidenced by the recent $8.7 billion military aid package secured by Israel.
