President Bola Tinubu urged Nigerians not to worry about the mass exodus of young professionals to other countries. "Japa," a local term for the departure of skilled professionals seeking better opportunities abroad, was the focus of his remarks.
Tinubu made this statement during an official visit to Imo State to witness the inauguration of Governor Hope Uzodimma's second term in Owerri yesterday. He mentioned that more Nigerians would receive training to fill the vacancies resulting from those relocating overseas.
‘’Don’t worry about what you are hearing about Japa syndrome. We will train more people and supply them,’’ Tinubu said.
