Min. of Defence Delivers 20 New APCs to Empower Armed Forces

The Ministry of Defence has handed over 20 newly acquired Armored Personnel Carriers (APCs) to the Defence Headquarters to enhance the professional capabilities of troops of the Nigerian Armed Forces.

Dr. Ibrahim Kana, the Permanent Secretary of the MoD in Abuja, stated in a release that the APCs were handed over to the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Christopher Musa.

Kana emphasized that this step aimed to bolster the nation’s defence capabilities to effectively address emerging security challenges and enhance the operational capabilities of the Nigerian Armed Forces.

He stated, "These Armored Personnel Carriers will provide our troops with enhanced protection and mobility, enabling them to carry out their duties more effectively in safeguarding our nation’s sovereignty."
